Ominous Z06's Collection

1963 C2 Corvette Roadster, L76, "RE"  code 327-340hp, 4spd, power brakes in Silver Blue, white top, and dark blue interior.  100% numbers matching.  Originally sold new at Ray Bryant Chevrolet just up the road in Dayton OH.  We found the car in Bowling Green, KY literally at the National Corvette Museum.

1978 C3 Corvette 25th Silver Anniversary, B2Z silver paint, Oyster interior, optional L82 220hp engine, M21 4spd transmission, FE7 gymkhana suspension, and only 453 original miles!  This is a benchmark car.  I'm the second owner.  Car has only been on the road two times since new.  Original owner was a collector in Dayton, OH who ordered the car from Dan Hixon Chevrolet in Abilene TX.  He had it delivered (for whatever reason) to Topeka KS, from where it was driven to his home in Dayton, gathering nearly all the mileage.   I purchased the car in 2001 in my family's hometown of St. Mary's, Ohio from Bud's Chevrolet.

1991 C4 Corvette ZR-1. #1609.  Powered by the amazing quad cam, 32 valve LT5 V8 built by Mercury Marine.   Bright red with gray interior, and dual tops. Mods include ultra rare Shelby Series 1 wheels, Nitto NT555R tires, and a Marc Haibeck chip.  An NCRS Top Flight regional winner.   This is the car I absolutely could not live without.  I am the second owner and the sixth owner of this "King of the Hill".   The car was originally delivered by Courtesy Chevrolet in Thousand Oaks, CA.   I purchased it in 2001 from Bud's Chevrolet, but sold it in 2009 to the third owner in Scottsdale AZ.   I later went on a 6 year hunt to find it again.  Divine mercies were at work, as I located it only a mere 90 miles from my house! I bought it back from the fifth owner (who lived in Marysville, OH) in June 2015.  All original paperwork is with the car, including the original, complete Owners Kit.

1993 C4 Corvette 40th Anniversary.  One of 6,749 Z25 Ruby 40th Anniversary cars.   This coupe has the LT1 300hp/340 ft lb engine, 4spd automatic (4,204 built), and was ordered with two additional options: (24S) removable blue tint glass roof and (UJ6) LTPWS.  Originally delivered by Jack Cauley Chevrolet in Michigan on January 28, 1993.  As the third owner, I purchased it from Bud's Chevrolet in St. Mary's Ohio in April 2005.   The car still has the stock wheels.  Minor mods include open air filter lid, chambered exhaust system, new optispark, NGK plugs, and Taylor wires.

1996 C4 Corvette Grand Sport #628.   Super rare GS coupe with (70I) Torch Red leather interior & Z51 performance handling package.  Certified as 1 of 17 by the Grand Sport Registry.  This car features the LT4 330hp engine, (MN6) 6 speed manual transmission, (UJ6) LTPWS, and (U1F) Bose sound system.  Built on April 9, 1996, this car was originally delivered by Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, Florida.   I am the second owner, purchasing the car in January 2003 from Hawley Motors in Sarasota, FL.

1998 C5 Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car #1013.
The first Indianapolis 500  I attended was the 82nd running held on May 24, 1998.  From the stands, I was captivated by the brilliant Corvette pace car--the fourth time Corvette had been chosen to lead the field to green.  Not to mention, "The Shark" Greg Norman was selected to be the driver!   I always desired to own one.   Eddie Cheever won the race driving the #51 Oldsmobile Dalara.

Of the 1,163 pace cars built by Chevrolet for the '98 500 (including 5 pilot cars), this is one of 547 with the optional 6-speed manual transmission.  The car was built on February 16, 1998.   I've added a cold-air intake, B&M shifter, Borla straight pipes, and Lloyds mats.  The car has approximately 23k miles on it.

2004 C5 Corvette Z06.  LS6-405hp engine, 6 speed manual, Torch Red and desirable Mod Red Interior option. Mods include Hurst shifter, Halltech TRIC intake, ported throttle body, Borla ATAK exhaust, and lowered on stock bolts.  Now sits on C7 Z06 wheels and Nitto NT05 tires. I purchased it new in Nov 2003 from Buds Chevrolet in St. Mary's.  The car has approximately 6,000 miles on it.

2006 C6 Corvette Z06.  Victory Red with Red interior.  427ci LS7 mated to the MM6 6spd manual transmission.   Of the 6,272 Z06's made for MY2006, approximately 2.8% came in this color combination.   This car sports OEM ZR1 Cup wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, carbon fiber splitter, side rockers, and ZR1 spoiler.  Other mods include Airaid, Revesol steering wheel, Hurst shifter, Lloyds mats, and Z06 logo partition.  The engine was hand assembled on March 8, 2006, and the finished product delivered on March 26, 2006 at the National Corvette Museum (R8C option).   I purchased the car on 8/8/09 in my wife's hometown of Gwinnett, Georgia.

2017 C7 Grand Sport Z07.   Rare production Z15 Heritage Package in Admiral Blue / White Stripe / Red Hashes, and LOADED with options:  3LT, 8spd paddle shift, AE4 competition seats, 196 black suede interior, FAY carbon fiber dash, J6F red calipers, and the ultimate performance Z07 track package.  Perfect stablemate to his older brother above.  The car was originally delivered on August 25, 2016 at Crivelli Chevrolet in Mount Pleasant, PA.  I purchased it on May 25, 2019 from Bud's Chevrolet practically brand new with only 400 miles.   Will never know for certain, but estimates are this car is one of only 25 to 74 produced in 2017 with these options.  Mods include front & rear Stage 3 Aero kit in carbon flash metallic.
